Monek Merchant Services Ltd is an Authorised Payment Institution, authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FRN 920628) — not an agent operating under somebody else's authorisation. Merchant funds are safeguarded in designated UK trust accounts. Payment services are not covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme.
We run our own acquiring platform, online gateway and REST API, with a UK support team on the end of a phone. No white-label reselling and no outsourced support: every transaction flows through systems we operate and control.
Today we serve more than 18,000 merchants, from sole traders taking their first card payment to enterprise chains processing millions of transactions a month, and we processed £5.2bn in 2025.
