Monek has been accepted into the Xero App Marketplace as an official UK partner. The listing is currently in final review and is expected to be publicly discoverable in the Payments category alongside the other UK acquirers in early 2026.
What this means for merchants
The marketplace listing means that any Xero user — whether or not they are already a Monek customer — can find, evaluate, and connect Monek directly from inside Xero. The connection is OAuth-based: a merchant authorises the link, picks which Monek merchant IDs to map to which Xero organisations, and from that point on every card transaction lands in Xero automatically.
What it means for accountants
For UK accounting practices that already use Xero as their core ledger, Monek now sits alongside the other major UK acquirers as a directly supported provider — meaning end-of-month reconciliation for clients on Monek is no longer a manual exercise.
What's next
Final marketplace approval is expected in Q1 2026. Existing Monek merchants can connect to Xero ahead of the public marketplace launch by request through their account manager.
